JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining inventory. The Parts Managers is also responsible for achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts and for seeking out and soliciting parts business. Duties include:

• Manage parts employees including hiring, training and motivating the department
• Forecast goals and objectives, develop a business plan and execute
• Manage all customer service issues
• Supervise stock order procedures
• Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
• Price parts and accessories accurately
• Enforces safety requirements
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts
• Order parts according to demand
• Handle parts payment collection and ensuring all parts are billed correctly
• Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with demand

Our Mazda City of Orange Park store on Blanding Boulevard is two miles north of I-295.

SUPERVISION:

Your supervisor will be our General Manager, Gene Viola, who has over 40 years of experience.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven success in a managerial role is required
• 2-5 years inventory management experience preferred but not required
• Mazda brand experience a plus
• Strong leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong written and communication skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license
